Inspired by the uncluttered aesthetics of classic Shaker furniture, French designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec designed Passerelle – an updated interpretation sharing the same simplicity and quality in a more contemporary context to suit modern lifestyle requirements. Its variety of material and colour options amplify Passerelle’s multifunctionality, making it suitable for using as a desk, high table, or dining table in both private and public spaces.
With a well-balanced, flat-packed construction, the tabletop features solid wooden edges and top surface in veneer, laminate or linoleum, with the core made of Lisocore® – an advanced, high-quality material that offers great strength yet is extremely light and easy to move around.
The table frame is equally robust and functional, with solid wooden legs and aluminium and steel crossbar that strengthen and stabilise the table.
"The Passerelle Table Collection's biggest strength is its universality, much like all tables in the shaker table category. This table gives great freedom in your choice of chair; you can pair it with almost any, making it ideal for different settings and people's needs". - Rolf Hay.
