Made from recycled plastic in a woven look reminiscent of traditional West African Ashanti Kente patterns, Maxim pieces can be used in a multitude of ways, from home storage to shopping.
The items are durable, long-lasting, and add a pop of elegant colour to any space.
Pot’s inspiration came from the material itself and, as he explains:
"through studying a technique called Log-cabin weaving, which is all about making patterns appear by choosing warp and weft in a weave wisely."
Shortly after graduating from the Design Academy Eindhoven, Bertjan Pot opened his own studio in Rotterdam, gaining recognition for both his interiors and products. His work reflects his curiosity for materials and experimentation and exploration of production methods.
