For CHART 2021, HAY and CHART join forces in a new, creative collaboration. At the centre of the collaboration is the delicate, nostalgic embroidery by Icelandic artist, Loji Höskuldsson. The new project from Höskuldsson, ‘The Aftermath of a Garden Party’, will see the artist use a 10-metre-long HAY Mags sofa as a canvas by embellishing the fabric with a poetic, embroidered landscape.
The artwork is part of CHART’s new art book fair and sets the stage for a programme of talks, book signings and debates. CHART Book Fair brings together the forerunners in the Nordic art books and printed matter community and presents 30 dedicated arts and museum publishers.
