www.hayminimarket.com is an online shop for home accessories under the HAY brand.

HAY reserves the right to change the content of the website and web shop any time without prior notification.

If the website contains links to third-party websites, HAY provides no guarantee for the content on these third-party sites. The links are made available as a service to the user, and any visits to linked third-party websites are on the user’s own responsibility.

LANGUAGE AND CURRENCY

hayminimarket.com is available in Danish and English, both using Danish currency. If additional markets are added, the website will feature additional languages and currencies.

SALES CONDITIONS

A final and binding contract exists between you and HAY once your order is confirmed by HAY. HAY sends you an auto-generated order confirmation via e-mail when the order has been approved and shipped from the warehouse. You receive the final receipt for your order as soon as your parcel has left our warehouse and payment is accepted.

PRICES AND PAYMENT

hayminimarket.com accepts the following Danish-issued payment cards:

VISA, VISA Electron, VISA Dankort, Dankort, MasterCard, Maestro, American Express and Diners.

We also offer payment via the Danish app: Mobilepay.

 Please note that the charge will appear on your card or bank statement as Nine United Denmark A/S. The amount is charged when we ship your order from our warehouse. It is not possible for hayminimarket.com to charge a higher amount than the one you have approved. 

All listed prices include 25% VAT (Danish sales tax). Thus, the actual price is the one that is listed at hayminimarket.com for the item in question at the time of ordering. 

Orders over DKK 500 at hayminimarket.com qualify for free delivery. 

For orders under DKK 500, there is a delivery fee of at least DKK 40, depending on the delivery option you choose. Read more about delivery under Delivery. You will be asked to choose a delivery option when you finalize your order.

HAY does not accept liability for changes in the Danish VAT (sales tax) rate or the Danish currency, typos and errors in updating, error in stock numbers and sold-out products. Campaign offers are subject to availability and may be in limited supply.

 

PAYING WITH GIFT CERTIFICATION 

Unfortunately, we are not able to accept gift certificates issued for our physical shops as payment for online orders. We are working on a solution. If you have a gift certificate for our previous web shop, www.hayshop.dk, please use the following procedure:

Place your order online, as your normally would, paying with your credit/debit card.

Once you have completed your order, please send customer service an e-mail with your gift certificate code.

We then refund the amount on the gift certificate. If you do not use the full amount on the gift certificate, any remaining credit can be spent at a later time, using the same procedure.

If you would like to convert your online gift certificate to one that you can use in our shops in Aarhus or Copenhagen, please contact customer service.

 

DELIVERY

hayminimarket.com currently only delivers to addresses in Denmark (not including Greenland and the Faroe Islands).

Delivery time is 1-3 working days for items in stock.

If an item is not in stock, you will not be able to put it into your online shopping cart.  

 

FREE DELIVERY FOR ORDERS OVER DKK 500  

For orders under DKK 500, the following delivery fees apply: 

Delivery to GLS ParcelShop – DKK 40
Delivery to a business address – DKK 40
Delivery to a home address – DKK 60

  

DELIVERY OPTIONS

GLS ParcelShop

GLS ParcelShop works the same way as collecting your parcel from your local post office.

 The only difference is that you collect your parcel from a local shop instead of having to go to the post office.

 Our system generates a list of ParcelShops in your area.

 You receive an e-mail/text message (SMS) from GLS when your parcel has arrived at a GLS ParcelShop and is ready to be collected.

 You have ten business days to pick up the parcel. You can pick up your parcel at any time that suits you during the shop’s opening hours.

 When you pick up the parcel you need to bring a text message (SMS) or an e-mail with the parcel number as well as government-issued ID, for example a driving licence or the yellow healthcare ID card.

 

GLS Erhverv (Business)

If you choose GLS Erhverv (GLS Business), GLS will deliver your parcel directly to your place of work.

 Delivery with GLS Erhverv takes place in the daytime, between 08.00 and 16.00, on weekdays. There must be someone present during these hours to sign for the parcel.

 

GLS – home delivery

Since many people are away from home during the daytime, when the delivery firm attempts to make deliveries, we have not made this delivery form our primary option. 
The order will be delivered between 08.00 and 16.00. It is not possible to arrange a more specific interval for delivery.

You may arrange for GLS to drop the parcel off at a specific location at your home address. GLS offers four options, which are presented in the web shop at checkout.

If no one is home to sign for your parcel when GLS attempts to make the delivery, and no drop-off point has been arranged, the driver will usually return the parcel to the depot after leaving a card with the parcel number and a contact telephone number. 
Simply call GLS at the number on the card, state the parcel number, and tell GLS which alternative suits you best, for example redirection to a different address or to a GLS ParcelShop.

In some areas, GLS automatically delivers the parcel to a GLS ParcelShop after the first failed attempt if no one was present to sign for the parcel. In that case, the card in your letter box tells you at which ParcelShop you can collect your parcel, and you have ten working days to collect it.
Once the parcel is delivered to a GLS ParcelShop, GLS considers it ‘delivered’.

 

RETURN POLICY

You are entitled to cancel your order for any reason whatsoever within 14 days. This right expires 14 days after you or a person suggested by you takes physical possession of the item in question.

Please note that the customer has to pay for return delivery costs.

The parcel must be trackable to provide documentation that it was sent. This means that it is not sufficient to simply post it using a postage stamp.

If you exercise your right to cancel your purchase under these conditions, we will refund the purchase price (excl. delivery fee) no later than 7 days from the date when we receive your parcel with the filled-out return slip with information about your decision to cancel the purchase. 
We return the amount to the card that was used to pay for the item unless you request otherwise. We do not charge you a fee for this refund.


We may retain the refund until we have received the returned items or until we have received documentation that the item was returned, whatever comes first. 
If the item was purchased using a gift certificate the refund will be in the form of a new gift certificate.

Please return the item in its original state and in the original product packaging.

If this is not the case, you should expect a reduction in the refund amount due to the loss of value of the item.

 We recommend that you also reuse the packaging of the original parcel.

 hayminimarket.com does not exchange items. If you wish to exchange an item, please return it, and we will refund the amount. You can then place a new order for the desired item.

It is not possible to exchange or return items bought at hayminimarket.com in our physical HAY shops.

  

CLAIM

If you received a faulty item, please contact hayminimarket.com within a reasonable amount of time after you become aware of the problem. Under no circumstances will we accept claims concerning problems or shortcomings in connection with a purchase more than two years after the date of purchase. 

Please contact customer service using our contact form here. To ensure solving your case as best as possible our complaints department need photos as documentation for your claim. Please attach photos via the contact form. HAY’s customer service will contact you once we have evaluated your case. 

                

LIABILITY

HAY is not liable for any delays or breach of contract that are due to force majeure. As long as a force majeure situation applies, HAY is exempt from its contractual obligations.
HAY accepts product liability in relation to the consumer in accordance with current legislation.

 

GIFT CERTIFICATE

It is not currently possible to buy gift certificates at hayminimarket.com. 

Unfortunately, we are not able to accept gift certificates issued for our physical shops as payment for online orders. We are working on a solution.

If you have a gift certificate for our previous web shop, www.hayshop.dk, please use the following procedure:

 CAMPAIGN OFFERS

Occasionally, hayminimarket.com will feature special campaign offers. Campaign offers often apply to items that are going out of stock. 
Campaign offers are subject to the same right to cancel as items that are not marked down.

 

SECURITY

hayminimarket.com has a partnership with ePay and 3D Secure. This means that all information that is transmitted online in connection with your purchase is secure and encrypted. Neither HAY nor anyone else has access to your data. You are not liable if your card is abused in an internet shop with 3D Secure.
There is no encryption when you browse hayminimarket.com, but when you input your payment information, card number, expiry date etc. you are inside a ‘secure area’. In the secure area, all your data is encrypted. Your card data are verified to make sure that the card has not been cancelled or is otherwise invalid. As soon as your card has been approved you receive an automatic order confirmation. 
hayminimarket.com does not receive your card number or the expiry date of your card but is notified that the amount is reserved for the transaction, which is carried out when your order ships from our warehouse. When the order has shipped, your account will be updated, and you receive an invoice with payment confirmation via e-mail. Please note that this invoice is merely a receipt for your purchase. The charge will appear on your card or bank statement as Nine United Denmark A/S.  

 

DATA PROTECTION

Shopping at hayminimarket.com requires the following information from you, as a minimum:

hayminimarket.com only records this information with a view to delivering the items your order and to offer you the best possible shopping experience. Your personal data is stored by HAY.
Please note: We do not store personal payment information such as card numbers etc., and none of the information we receive from you will be shared with any third parties.

HAY is required to protect your privacy and your security as a user of hayminimarket.com.
The information you provide when you place an order on our website is only used to provide a smooth and simple shopping experience. The data is treated in careful accordance with all current privacy regulations.
No data that identifies the individual shopper is passed on to any third parties. The only statistical data that is collected and shared with any third parties concerns customer traffic and commercial information. This information is shared with the sole purpose of improving your user experience at hayminimarket.com.

You can sign up to receive our newsletter about new products, campaigns etc. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter by clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ link that is included in all the news e-mails we send out. You will also find the link at the bottom of this page. If you encounter any problems with unsubscribing, please contact customer service. We will then make sure to solve the problem as quickly as possible.

All names, brands and logos on the website are the property of HAY and can only be used with express permission from HAY.
Online content such as text, graphic design elements, icons, images, videos, audio files and software is the property of HAY or HAY’s associated partners or companies. Downloading content from the website is only permitted for personal and non-commercial use and subject to copyright laws and regulations. You are not allowed to copy, distribute or republish content from the website for public or commercial use or make any other use of copyright-protected content without permission from HAY.
You are not allowed to extract data by means of data roaming, robots or similar data collection tools from hayminimarket.com without prior written permission from HAY.


LITIGATION

The above terms and conditions comply with Danish law. Any litigation will be settled under Danish law. 


COMPLAINTS

You may complain to Forbrugerklagenævnet (the Consumer Complaints Board) at www.forbrug.dk. By filling out the information form at Klag online (complain online), you can instantly see whether your the board can process your case.
